The house was built against the rocky hill behind it and there is a canopied wood-and-tile built terrace to the front, used for car parking, but which you could also be used to dine whilst protected from the sun. The south-facing garden lies between the gravel path and the stream. The stream borders the land to the South and is directly accessible from the garden. Lovely for children to play in, but also to fish in. The garden has a romantic little tower that is used for wood storage but could just as well be an exciting play area or a small studio.     A cosy houseA few steps lead up to the front door and you enter the house directly into the cosy lounge area, with its wood-burner and charming alcoves. It has its own little terrace at the back of the house, giving guests complete privacy. The guest living area is located on the 2nd floor of the house under the insulated roof. It consists of a living room with a wood-burner, a small kitchen, a bathroom with a toilet, a washbasin and a shower, an office, and a bedroom. Saint-Léonard-de-NoblatThe medieval town of Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat is only a few minutes away by car. For the experienced cyclist the trip to the town centre can also be made by bicycle. Saint-Léonard-de-Noblat is a lively town with picturesque streets and many places of interest. It provides all necessary services. For instance, there are several bakeries, supermarkets, a post office, school (from infant to High schools) and banks. A large market (the Fair) is held every first Monday of the month. On Saturday mornings, there is a small market in one of the small squares. It is also lively at lunchtime because of all the workers enjoying their lunch in the many restaurants the town has to offer.
